The Archives organize their holdings into broad record groups. Some are open for general study; others remain under active cataloguing, or sealed pending review. What follows is a guide to how the collection is structured — not an index of its full contents.
Histories & Chronicles
Chronicles of pantheons, the rise and fall of nations, and the timelines by which Khassid measures its own past.
Doctrine & Theology
The teachings of temples and the many interpretations mortals give to the will of the divine.
Cultural & Traditional Accounts
The customs, traditions, and living practices of the many peoples of Khassid.
Scholarly & Arcane Studies
Linguistic works, translations, and matters of intellectual and magical theory.
Prophetic & Divinatory Records
Dream accounts, omens, and divinatory study. Access requires appropriate standing and authorization.
Sealed Holdings
Records withheld from general circulation — not because they are false, but because their release requires further authorization.
How Records Are Classified
Circulation & Restriction
Not every record preserved within the Archives is released in the same way. The Archives distinguish between general circulation, limited circulation among a designated audience, and material that remains sealed pending the assent of the relevant ecclesiastical or Exarchal authority.
This system is not a barrier so much as a discipline — a way of ensuring that knowledge is shared responsibly, and that its consequences are understood before its release.
